Simplest expression of the Concept

If Parker's contribution to music was the bebop scale, and Cage's contribution was "chance operations", what is the contribution of The Concept? PS: One of THE most interesting aspects of the Concept (in comparison with other contributions mentioned) is that it's originator is still active...

i'd wanted to ask about your take on the other bebop scales - i've seen different formulas for them. and you gave us the major. but what about the minor, etc?
