the first russell recording i picked up was "so what" with the living time orchestra in 1988 and along with it, the stratus seekers...

i picked up "new york, new york" while i was in new york. go figure :o)

I have been listening to GR's music too, every day. Mainly the small group stuff from the late 50s.

Did you know that George Russell played drums in his early days?

On another topic, I think I recall hearing in an interview once that GR's father used to play strange chords at the piano and just listen to them.

I've got to get the biography.
