I changed over from Final Notepad to Musescore, to more easily export sound, and it gave me more flexibility in the notation too.

You get a different feeling about the material when you work so close with it don't you?
Absolutely. And perhaps from the outside it could appear to be a pointless exercise. However in my experience it has opened up some interesting doors.

Thanks a lot for your comments and your suggestion. That would be a great exercise. I also have something along slightly different lines coming up here in a little while that you might find interesting.
