query for Motherload

Post by guitarjazz »

Hey Motherload,
I was looking at your TG chart of the Lydian Scale and noticed at the far right under +4 it says '2' intervals. According to the LCC the tonic interval of a +4, in the context of the Lydian Scale, so C Lydian C to F#, the interval tonic is C, the bottom note.
I realize that a tritone has symmetrical properties but I thought I'd bring up +4 as it related to Russell's concept of interval tonics. This being the case your chart, at the bottom, should read '7 6 5 4 3 2 1'
Take care,
GJ

Thank you for your response. I've been having too much fun playing and listening to that chart. Once again the LCC opens up some unexpected doors.
