On the title page (of the 4th edition at least) there is what seems to be a circle of fifths with the markings "Deep south" and "Passive". This same graphic is displayed more legibly on the homepage of George Russell's website where it can be seen to also have the labels "Far north" and "Neutral pole". Does anybody have any information about this diagram and what it represents?

Will, Take a look at chespernevins explanation here - and the conversation with strachs. There is no explicit description by George in the book - so we need to think it ourselves. http://www.lydianchromaticconcept.com/f ... gram#p1728

South: flat-lying
North: sharp-lying
This would be a great question to start off a lesson with Ben Schwendener, one of the authorized LCC teachers. http://www.benschwendener.com/WordPress/
I know he does Skype lessons.
